Scenes of the Bible
Description
Scenes of the Bible is an interactive acting game where players bring memorable Bible stories to life through short performances. Teams are given a Bible scene or story and must act it out using creativity, teamwork, and expression. The challenge is to help the audience identify the Bible story without simply telling them what it is
Mechanics
Divide the players into 2 or more teams.
Prepare cards containing different Bible stories or scenes.
Each team takes turns choosing or receiving a scene card.
Give the team 3–5 minutes to plan and practice their performance.
The team acts out the assigned Bible scene for the other players.
Players may use simple props and gestures, but they should not directly announce the name of the story.
The audience has a limited amount of time, such as 1–2 minutes, to guess the Bible story.
Award 2 points if the audience correctly identifies the story and 1 bonus point for especially creative teamwork or acting.
Rotate teams until everyone has had a chance to perform.
The team with the most points at the end wins.
