Guidelines

1. Prepare Posters: Write a prevailing cultural phrase or controversial claim at the center of each poster board (e.g., "Happiness is the ultimate goal of life" or "Live your own truth"). Tape these posters around the room.

2. Color Assignment: Hand a unique color marker to each teen. Explain that this debate is entirely silent.

3. Silent Rotation: Teens walk around the room, read the prompts, and write their initial thoughts, counterarguments, or relevant verses directly on the paper.

4. The Cross-Examination: On the second rotation, they must silently respond to what another student wrote by drawing lines connecting the ideas, asking a challenging written question, or adding a supporting verse.

5. Debrief: Gather around each poster and open the floor for a vocal debate based on the written arguments on the paper.
