Guidelines

1. Anonymity: Hand out index cards. Ask teens to write down a real moral dilemma or stressful scenario they or someone their age faces at school or online without signing their name.

2. Collect: Place all the cards into the "Dilemma Box."

3. Group Split: Break the class into small groups of 3 or 4 and draw one scenario card for each team to tackle.

4. The Grid Prep: Draw a quadrant grid on the whiteboard labeled: Easy but Wrong, Hard but Right, Culture's Advice, and Biblical Direction.

5. Collaborate & Map: Have each team deliberate, write their solution ideas on sticky notes, and physically place them into the quadrants on the board. End with a group discussion on why the "Hard but Right" option requires faith.

A cardboard box or wooden chest, index cards, sharpies, a dry-erase board, or large chart paper.
