Creation

Key Verse

Genesis 1:1-25 KJV

The Creation story depicts the powerful beginning of the universe, where God speaks the entire cosmos into existence out of complete emptiness and dark chaos. Over 6 consecutive days, God systematically designs the world, forming the light, the sky, the seas, and the dry land, before filling these environments with vegetation, the sun, moon, stars, fish, and birds.

On the sixth day, God creates land animals and forms human beings in His own image and likeness, entrusting them with the care of the earth. Upon looking at everything He made and declaring it "very good," God rests on the seventh day, blessing it and setting a sacred pattern of rest for all of creation.
