Key Verse

The Parable of the Good Samaritan is a famous story told by Jesus about a Jewish traveler who is brutally beaten, robbed, and left half-dead along a dangerous road.

As the man lies suffering, both a priest and a Levite walk by, see him, and deliberately cross to the other side of the road to avoid helping.

Finally, a Samaritan passes by. He immediately stops to treat the man's wounds, transports him to an inn on his own animal, and pays the innkeeper to care for him.
