Key Verse

The story of Noah's Ark is a powerful narrative of judgment, faith, and renewal where God decides to flood the earth to cleanse it of widespread corruption and violence. Noah stands out as the only righteous man, prompting God to warn him of the coming deluge and instruct him to build a massive wooden ark to save his family and a remnant of the world's animals.

Rain pours for 40 days and nights, completely submerging the earth, but the ark safely carries its passengers until the waters finally recede. Upon stepping onto dry land, Noah builds an altar of thanks to God, who establishes a covenant with humanity, promising never to destroy the earth with a flood again and sealing the vow with the very first rainbow in the sky.
